Description
Creating the index for this issue was more testing than usual as although we have the same number of pages, we have included more shorter articles.
The Swiss theme begins with Dr Anthony Hammond writing about the magnificent C.B. Fisk instrument in Lausanne Cathedral before Peter Yardley-Jones talks with Carl Rütti, probably one of the best-known Swiss composers. Martin Cottam’s cartoon on that page made me smile and the chamades on the pull-out I know appeal to many.
We then shift our focus to education – first James McVinnie asks where future organists are to be found before Tom Daggett and Tom Bell describe their #InspiringOrganists programme which is backed by Viscount Organs. The education section then continues as usual with Off the Beaten Path and The Organists’ Toolkit.
