The Rieger in Christchurch Town Hall, New Zealand, has been restored and had its former glory improved upon; and, during the production of this issue we have also seen the potential-destruction of Notre-Dame and its Cavaillé-Coll and read the good news of its survival.

There is then the newly-formed Society of Women Organists, which contrary to its name welcomes membership from both sexes.
